Native proprietary material made with a blend of traditional EVA and a sugarcane-derived resin, Sugarlite™ incurs a decrease in greenhouse gas emissions through the production process. Native was founded in Vancouver, BC, in 2009 to design and produce lightweight, injection-moulded EVA shoes. Inspired by classic, casual silhouettes, the Native aesthetic captures a timeless yet new look. As easy to wear as they are to look at, Native shoes are for anybody, anywhere, anytime.
Each time you wear a pair of Native Shoes, you are making an impact. By 2023, each pair of Native Shoes will be 100% life cycle managed. The Remix Project is the first initiative on this journey, and it recycles your well-loved Native Shoes by giving them new life in projects across the community.
