- Do not heat your ceramic teapot on stovetop or heating element

- Add loose-leaf tea or tea bags into infuser
- Gently pour hot water over tea and close the lid
- Allow tea to steep to desired strength and then remove infuser from teapot
- Place lid back on. Teapot will not chirp without lid firmly in place
